Redescription, male. Body length 4.54 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres short, with dense and short setae. Mandible very narrow, curved, and with lower tooth longer than others. Median clypeal lobe rounded, short, with median tooth at apical margin. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli small. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, strongly coriaceous ; transverse pronotal carina complete; with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus narrow. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture convergent to first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina absent; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectalpropodeal disc polished; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein not distinguished. Mesotibia spinose. Claws bifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. Basiparamere as long as paramere; paramere very slender, rounded, with ventral margin straight and dorsal margin convex with basal projection very short, sparsely setose; basivolsella with inner margin angled; cuspis with arms short, dorsal arm slender; aedeagus with basal portion convex and slender, and apical portion shorter than basal and very slender; apodeme slender.

Material examined. Holotype, ♂, BRAZIL, D[istrito] F[ederal], Brasília, Reserva Ecológica do IBGE [=Roncador], 15°55'58''S 4°51'02''W, c[ampo] sujo, 7–14.XII.1979, [armadilha] Janela, [J. Dalmáceo col.] ( IBGE).
