Description, female. Body length 6.77 mm. Head with green reflection; mesosoma with green reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Mandible with five distal teeth, wide, slightly angled, step-shaped. Median clypeal lobe rounded, short; median clypeal carina indistinct from clypeus. Frons coriaceous ; antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli large. Vertex concave. Pronotal disc as long as wide, punctate; transverse pronotal carina present, incomplete; posterior margin with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia spinose; claws bifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv slightly longer than genitalia body; 2vv as long as 1vv length, smoothly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf strongly curved forward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap strongly swollen posteriorly; 1rv slightly curved forward, ventral process small, and posterior process long; 2rv not curved.

Distribution. Brazil: Bahia, Rio de Janeiro.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. dietrichorum by having the body with green reflection and the metapectal-propodeal disc black; the mandible slightly angled and step-shaped; the clypeus rounded with the clypeal carina depressed and indistinct from the clypeus; the frons without a frontal process; the eye large; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle acute; the ocelli large; the vertex concave; the transverse pronotal carina incomplete; the notaulus narrow; and the metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with the first metapostnotal carina, whereas A. dietrichorum has the body black; the mandible angled, and with the lower tooth wider than the others; the clypeus angulate with the clypeal carina arched and distinct from the clypeus; the frons with a frontal process; the eye small; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle forming a right angle; the ocelli small; the vertex straight; the transverse pronotal carina complete; the notaulus very narrow; and the metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight.
