Diagnosis. General color light brown spotted with yellowish. Punctures dark brown ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2–5 ). Ventrally, abdominal disc uniformly brown. Antennae four-segmented.

Head. Yellowish spots denser on mandibular plates and clypeus. Posterior margins of eyes yellowish. Vertex slightly tumescent.Antennal tubercles partially hidden by the anteocular processes. Antennae brown, four-segment- ed; first segment with a dorsal yellowish macula; intersegmental areas yellowish; proportion of antennal segments: I<II>III<IV, first the shortest, and second the longest. Posterior margins of segments, antennal tubercle, and apex of mandibular plates yellowish ventrally; 1+1 longitudinal yellowish carinae posterior to eyes. Labium yellowish, reaching half of abdominal segment V; proportion of labial segments: I<II>III<IV.

Thorax. Anterior half of pronotum slightly declivous; anterolateral margins yellowish; punctures shallower between humeral angles; cicatrices with 1+1 yellowish spots at posterolateral angles. Anterior angles surpassing lateral margin of eyes twice the ocellus diameter. Scutellum with one yellowish spot medially on anterior margin, 1+1 spots on foveae, and one spot on apex; punctures denser on lateral margins and absent on apex. Corium reaching half of connexival segment VI, brown with yellowish spots, yellowish maculae at apex of radial vein at least equal to ocellus diameter; punctures denser on exocorium. Membrane with seven veins, not surpassing apex of abdomen. Pro-, meso-, and metapleurae yellowish. Metapleural evaporatorium brown, peritreme with anterior margin yellowish and at least attaining half of evaporatorium. Legs yellowish with brown spots on femora and dorsal surface of tibiae.

Abdomen. Connexival segments with medial yellowish spots extending ventrally, paler on segment VII. Lateral thirds of abdomen with yellowish spots, following the spiracles line, and inconspicuous punctures; disc velvety.

Male. Measurements (n=1): head length, 1.76; width, 2.21; pronotum length, 2.21; width, 5.29; scutellum length, 3.97; width, 3.15; length of the antennal segments: I, 0.65; II, 2.05; III, 1.25; IV, missing; length of the labium segments: I, 1.35; II, 2.25; III, 1.60; IV, 1.80; total length, 9.23; abdominal width, 5.99.

Genitalia. Enlarged margin of dorsal rim narrow and raised, hiding the base of posterolateral angles ( Figs 9, 11 View FIGURES 6–18 ). Foliaceus projection of the inferior layer of ventral rim subrectangular and laterally constricted, providing a sinuous contour to the lateral margin, this slightly tumescent close to the posterolateral angles; mesial margin inconspicuously reflected ( Figs 9, 11 View FIGURES 6–18 ). Carinae of segment X midway between base and apex ( Figs 9, 11 View FIGURES 6–18 ). Conical projection of the inferior layer of ventral rim prominent and rounded ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 6–18 ). Parameres: dorsal lobe of head apparently with acute apex (pygophore not dissected in the single specimen), bearing a tuft of setae; ventral lobe subequal to dorsal lobe, rounded and ventrally projected, bearing a tuft of long apical setae ( Figs 10–11 View FIGURES 6–18 ).

Female. Measurements (n=3): head length, 1.78 ± 0.06 (1.75–1.85); width, 2.12 ± 0.06 (2.05–2.15); pronotum length, 2.10 ± 0.00 (2.10–2.10); width, 4.95 ± 0.10 (4.85–5.05); scutellum length, 3.67 ± 0.08 (3.60–3.75); width, 2.90 ± 0.09 (2.80–2.95); length of the antennal segments: I, 0.60 ± 0.00 (0.60–0.60); II, 1.72 ± 0.03 (1.70–1.75); III, 1.25 ± 0.00 (1.25–1.25); IV, 1.67 ± 0.06 (1.60–1.70); length of the labium segments: I, 1.18 ± 0.03 (1.15–1.20); II, 2.12 ± 0.08 (2.05–2.20); III, 1.42 ± 0.03 (1.40–1.45); IV, 1.52 ± 0.03 (1.50–1.55); total length, 9.14 ± 0.11 (9.02– 9.23); abdominal width, 5.16 ± 0.08 (5.11–5.25).

Genitalia. Genital plates velvety, except for glossy calluses. Gonocoxites VIII subtriangular; posterior margin rectilinear with sutural angles projected; calluses with few punctures and slightly rough, attaining posterior margin and directed to the base of laterotergites VIII; surface between calluses and sutural margins equal to half the callus width; sutural margins expanded throughout its length; disc anterior to calluses convex with wrinkles ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 21–27 ). Laterotergites VIII brown with yellowish maculae, punctures inconspicuous. Gonocoxites IX projected externally between laterotergites IX; cup-shaped internally, with lateral margins subparallel ( Figs 22, 26 View FIGURES 21–27 ). Laterotergites IX medially depressed; mesial margins juxtaposed, and internally with a spine on basal angle ( Figs 22, 26 View FIGURES 21–27 ). Thickening of vaginal intima subrectangular. Proximal portion of ductus receptaculi as wide as median duct of vesicular area. Vesicular area twice the length of pars intermedialis plus capsula seminalis; median duct enlarged on base. Distal portion of ductus receptaculi about 1/3 of the length of vesicular area. Pars intermedialis long, four times the length of capsula seminalis, anterior and posterior annular crests perpendicular to pars intermedialis. Capsula seminalis globose, with thin basal processes ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 21–27 ).

Remarks. Alloeogyna poecila sp. nov. differs from the other species by its color pattern with yellowish maculae on the cicatrices of pronotum, the base of scutellum, and foveae ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2–5 ), and by the labium reaching abdominal segment V. Its genital plates differ by the calluses and sutural margins of intermediary development between All. brunnea comb. nov. and All. ampla sp. nov. ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 21–27 ). The female internal genitalia differs from All. brunnea comb. nov. by the shape of gonocoxites IX and laterotergites IX, the latter with a spine on its basal angles; and by a narrower enlargement at the base of the median duct of vesicular area ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 21–27 ). Males of All. poecila sp. nov. have a larger and more closed pygophore than those of All. brunnea comb. nov.. The pygophore also differ by the subrect- angular foliaceus projection of the inferior layer of ventral rim with a lateral constriction, and the enlarged margin of dorsal rim narrow and raised ( Figs 9, 11 View FIGURES 6–18 ). This species was included as ‘sp. 17’ in the phylogeny of the Herrichella clade by Garbelotto et al. (2013).
