ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1875b: 178 (key), 182 (description).
TYPE LOCALITY: “ in montuosis alpinis [Alps]”.
TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, syntype ( MZUF: Box 35): Agromyza Fall. / lateritia Rnd., Alpi / 1863.
CURRENT STATUS: nomen dubium View in CoL in Agromyzidae ( Papp 1984b: 342) View in CoL .
REMARKS: Rondani (1875b: 182) described Agromyza lateritia without specifying either the number or the sex of the specimens, but giving a single measurement of length. One syntype was found in this study.
