Range: —Hispaniola; mountains from Costa Rica to Suriname and Bolivia (CO, LP, SC); southeastern Brazil.
Ecology: —Common; pendent epiphyte, or on steep, moss-covered slopes, rarely on rocks, in humid forests; (800–) 1500–3450 m.
Notes: —This species is intermediate between narrower Radiovittaria ruiziana and broader R. remota .
