12. Tubifex ignota Štolc, 1886

Tubifex ignotus (Štolc) : Laakso, 1969. Hrabě, 1981. Chekanovskaya, 1981.

Material examined. One individual was collected from Sugok­ri, Amtae­myeon , Sinan­gun , Jeollanam­do, E: 126°6′17.63″ N: 34°45′46.02″, 7 Mar 2013 (collector: Kim H). This specimen was mounted on a slide and deposited at NIBR ( KOSPIV0000206600 ) .

Remarks. This species shows unique feature having long and hispid (barbed) hair chaetae ( Fig. 1I ) ( Timm, 2009; Rodriguez and Achurra, 2010). The shape of our specimen agrees with this diagnostic feature of T. ignota .

World distribution. Holarctic.
