NOTE: The species is only known from three specimens from the type locality: Johann- Albrechtshöhe. It is a former German station located in the volcanic region of NW Cameroon near Lake Barombi (4°40'N 9°24'E) GoogleMaps .

DIAGNOSIS. The male differs from T. lettowvorbecki by segments 6 to 11 of the antennae being notched, these segments are shorter and more curved (fig. 15f). Female unknown.
