Holotype. Male ( CUIC), Chile, Osorno, ne. shore of Lago Llanquihue.

Distribution. Chile: Región del Biobío: Biobío Province (Los Angeles 50 km N, Mulchén 16 km N, Salto del Laja); Región de La Araucania: Malleco Province (Angol), Cautín Province (Cajón 4 km E); Región de Los Ríos: Valdivia Province (Río Pilmaiquen at Road 5); Región de Los Lagos: Osorno Province (Lago Llanquihue shore NE), Llanquihue Province (Puerto Varas 3 km E), Chiloé Province (Castro).

Remarks. Knutson et al. (1976) listed this species as occurring in Concepción province, without a precise locality.
