Description. Body uniformly brown with fine pubescence. Antennomeres one to nine and eleven, base of elytra and tarsi yellowish. Male: Rostrum slightly curved, 0.7 times as long as pronotum, about 3.4 times as long as wide at apex, about 3.9 times as long as wide across middle, about 2.6 times as long as wide at base, with two longitudinal carinae and ventrally with semierect setae. Antennae inserted ventrally near base of rostrum, nearly extending towards midlength of pronotum. First, eighth, and ninth antennomere suboval. Antennomeres two to seven subconical. Basal antennomere 3.9 times as long as wide at apex, extending towards eye. Second antennomere about 2.0 times as long as wide at apex, 0.5 times as long as and 0.9 times as wide as basal antennomere. Third antennomere 2.9 times as long as wide at apex, equal in length and 0.7 times as wide as second antennomere. Antennomeres four to seven subequal in length. Fourth antennomere about 1.8 times as long as wide at apex, 0.6 times as long as and slightly wider than third antennomere. Fifth antennomere 1.6 times as long as wide at apex, 1.1 times as wide as fourth antennomere. Sixth antennomere equal in length to fifth antennomere. Seventh antennomere 1.4 times as long as wide at apex, about 1.1 times as wide as sixth antennomere. Eighth antennomere 1.6 times as long as wide at apex, about 1.1 times as long as and subequal in wide to seventh antennomere. Ninth antennomere 1.4 times as long as wide at apex, about 1.1 times as long as and about 1.3 times as wide as eighth antennomere. Antennal club apically tomentose, about 2.4 times as long as wide across middle, about 2.9 times as long as ninth antennomere. Forehead weakly convex in dorsal aspect, 0.8 times as wide as base of rostrum, with median longitudinal furrow, densely punctate. Compound eyes large, convex, finely faceted. Head constricted posterior to eyes. Temples subequal in length to eye. Pronotum campaniform, 1.5 times as long as wide at apex, slightly narrower than wide across midlength, slightly longer than its basal width, weakly convex, with fife longitudinal carinae, with distinct teeth on lateral margins, densely rugose-punctate. Intervening spaces much wider than their diameters. Scutellar shield subequal in length and width. Elytra subelliptical, about 1.6 times as long as wide across humeral area, 1.5 times as long as wide across midlength, 1.8 times as wide across apical fourth, about 1.7 times as long as pronotum, with smoothed humeri. Elytral disc with shallow striae, densely punctate. Apex of elytron not toothed. Precoxal portion of prosternum long, twice as long as maximum length of procoxal cavity. Postcoxal portion of prosternum equal to length of precoxal cavity. Procoxal cavities separated. Metaventrite weakly convex in ventral aspect, punctate, about 2.3 times as long as metacoxal cavity. Metepisternum narrow. Abdomen convex in ventral aspect, densely punctate. Ventrites free. First ventrite twice as long as metacoxal cavity. Second ventrite 0.5 times as long as first ventrite. Third ventrite slightly shorter than second. Fourth ventrite 0.7 times as long as third. Fifth ventrite 1.4 times as long as fourth. Legs rather long. Procoxae large, spherical. Femora slightly thickened and flattened, without teeth, densely punctate. Profemora strongly widened. Metafemora simple. Tibiae rather short and wide. Tarsi wide. First tarsomere wide-conical. Second and third tarsomere bilobate, ventrally with erect setae. Fifth tarsomere elongate. Tarsal claws free, divergent. Total body length (without rostrum) 3.5 mm. Length of rostrum 0.8 mm. Female: Rostrum nearly straight, about 1.3 times as long as pronotum, 8.7 times as long as wide at apex, 13.0 times as long as wide across midlength, about 4.7 times as long as wide at base, without carinae and ventral setae. First antennomere 3 times as long as wide at apex. Second antennomere 2.5 times as long as wide at apex, about 0.6 times as long as and 0.8 times as wide as first antennomere. Third antennomere 2.5 times as long as wide at apex, 0.9 times as long as and 0.9 times as wide as second antennomere. Antennomeres three to six subequally wide. Fourth antennomere about 2.2 times as long as wide at apex, about 0.9 times as long as third antennomere. Antennomeres five to seven subequal in length. Fifth antennomere 1.9 times as long as wide at apex, about 0.9 times as wide as fourth antennomere. Sixth antennomere equal in length to fifth. Seventh antennomere about 1.8 times as long as wide at apex, slightly wider than sixth antennomere. Eighth antennomere 1.8 times as long as wide at apex, about 1.1 times as long as and 1.1 times as wide as seventh antennomere. Ninth antennomere 1.8 times as long as wide at apex, about 1.1 times as long as and slightly wider than eighth antennomere.
