Loc. typ.: China, NW Yunnan /SW Sichuan, road Xiangcheng-Zhongdian, pass 35 km S Xiangcheng , 15 km N Wengshui.

Described upon four specimens. As far as I know it has never been collected again.

Description. Habitus as in Fig. 17 View FIGURES 17–20 . The combination of characters allowing to distinguish this species are: length 12.1–13.4 mm; integuments dark reddish brown, rather dull; body rather depressed; femora and tibiae blackish, tarsi and antennae reddish, very long and slender; head narrow, with mandibles distinctly longer than the rest of the head; pronotum anteriorly broad, with lateral margins evidently constricted and with long sinuation towards the base; elytra very narrow, oval, with striae rather shallow and tending to disappear towards the sides; shoulders very constricted and with a small but evident tooth. Median lobe of aedeagus with apical portion much longer than basal portion; in lateral view subsinuate before apex, in dorsal view constricted and short, and with a very small tooth on the left side ( Fig. 42 View FIGURES 39–42 ). Ratios: El/Pl = 2.60; Ew/Pw = 1.50; El/Ew = 1.56.

Distribution. NW Yunnan /SW Sichuan area.

Material examined: China, NW Yunnan /SW Sichuan, road Xiangcheng-Zhongdian , pass 35 km S Xiangcheng, 15 km N Wengshui: Holotype ♂ ( CS).
