Current name: Stenotaphrum dimidiatum (L.) Brongn. View in CoL ( Poaceae ).

Note: Sauer (in Brittonia 24: 207. 1972) restricted the use of the name to two specimens at LINN but did not formally typify the name. Clayton & Renvoize (in Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Gramineae 3: 549. 1982) indicated unspecified material at LINN as the type, but Renvoize later restricted this to sheet 80.25 as lectotype.
