Distribution: ANG, CAM, DOC, GBI, GHA, GUI, KEN, RCA, RCI, TOG.
Distribution in Guinea-Bissau (Administrative Regions): 2) TOB.
Historic records: none.
Material examined: Coli (Quebo) (11º 37´01.53´´ N, 14º 46´12.23´´ W, 45 m alt.) ( TOB), 20. VI.2006, 1 male, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC.
Remarks. The species is widespread throughout western and central Africa, reaching KEN in eastern Africa (Basilewsky 1986; Lorenz 2021). The adult male specimen matched very well the description of this species, including the aedeagus. It was captured by LT within open secondary forest at the beginning of the rainy season during the 2006 entomological mission to Guinea-Bissau. This formal description recognises this species as a new genus/species record for Guinea-Bissau.
