Range: — Trinidad and Tobago, Guianas to Colombia, Brazil, and Bolivia (PA).

Ecology: —Rare; Amazonian rain forests; to 500 m.

Notes: —The only Bolivian collection of Selaginella producta differs from typical material by the less strongly acuminate median leaves, less pronounced midribs, and rather dull and more planar leaves; it may represent a distinct species.
