Range: —Known only from Bolivia (LP), to be expected in southern Peru.

Ecology: —Locally fairly common; saxicolous, less commonly terrestrial, in humid montane forests; 1200–1700 m.

Notes: —Most similar to S. flexuosa and S. revoluta , and differing from the latter in having denticulate (vs. long-ciliate) lateral leaves, somewhat narrower (vs. broadly ovate), long-aristate (vs. short-aristate) median leaves, and marginally flat (vs. revolute), glabrous lateral leaves (vs. often minutely hairy on upper surfaces) ( Kessler et al. 2006).
