Type host: Agama agama (Sauria: Agamidae ). Type locality: Cameroon (Kumba).

Diagnosis (based on original description made by Lavoipierre in 1955). FEMALE. Idiosoma 460−630 long and 870−1165 wide. Dorsum with about 45 pairs of serrate setae situated antero-laterally; 7 pairs of apically expanded setae situated postero-laterally; 2 pairs of serrate setae dm1 and dm2 situated medially and 19−27 pairs of serrate and slightly apically expanded peripheral setae situated posteriorly. Eyes present. Venter. Pseudanal series represented by 5 or 6 pairs of paddle-shaped setae ps with minute serration on apical part. Setae ps1 and ps2 situated ventrally, setae ps3−ps6 dorsally.

MALE. Idiosoma 295–395 long and 470–600 wide. Dorsum with 25 pairs of slightly serrate setae situated anteriorly, 2 pairs of short setae dm1 and dm2 situated medially, 5 pairs of slightly serrate setae situated postero-laterally and 6–7 pairs of long peripheral setae situated posteriorly. Eyes absent. Aedeagus directed forward. Genito-anal opening with 4 pairs of filiform setae.

Type material (not examined). Female holotype and female paratypes from Agama agama (Linnaeus) (Sauria: Agamidae ), CAMEROON: Southwest Region, Kumba.

Host and distribution. This species is known only from Agama agama from Cameroon [Southwest Region, Kumba] ( Lavoipierre 1955).
