Planigale ingrami subsp. ingrami Thomas 1906 View in CoL , Abstr. Proc. Zool. Soc. Lond., 1906 (32): 6.
Type Locality: Australia, Northern Territory, Alexandria.
Discussion: See Archer (1976:351). Woolley (1974) suggested that Western Australian P. i. subtilissima may be specifically distinct. A related but distinct species, referred to simply as Planigale 2 by Painter at al. (1995), is known from the Pilbara, Western Australia.
