Type:— BRAZIL. Minas Gerais [“Minas Geraës”]: Lagoa Santa, s.d., J. E. B. Warming s.n. (not found). (lectotype, designated here: W-R 25009! original illustration made by Warming from the holotype).
Notes: —The authors described N. odontonotos based on a living specimen without indicating the holotype, which was not located and apparently not preserved, in the protologue. However, an illustration made by Warming from the original sample has been located at W-R and is designated here as a lectotype. The sample P barcode P 00456006 is excluded as a type specimen because it does not conform to what is described in the protologue.
