Diagnosis. C. albipes (Fallén) ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–4 ) can be recognized by shining body, yellow thoracic sclerites, yellow legs, and male surstylus which is apically bifurcated into anterior and posterior lobes ( Figs 3, 4 View FIGURES 1–4 ). Scutum normally yellow with a pair of longitudinal dark stripes on yellow ground color, but sometimes wholly black.
Length (♂ ♀). Body, 6.9–7.1 mm; wing, 6.4–6.5 mm.
Distribution. Europe; Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, and Kyushu); Russia (Amur Oblast, Magadan Oblast, Primorskiy Kray) ( Ozerov, 2014). New to Japan.
Remarks. This species is similar to C. cuspidata Sasakawa and C. nubecula Sasakawa , but is easily distinguishable from them by having yellow anepimeron in both sexes and by the structures of anterior and posterior lobes of surstylus in male.
