PHENOLOGY.— Flowering: July–November; fruiting: July–September.

DISTRIBUTION.— Mexico (Coah., S.L.P., Tamps.).

HABITAT.— Desertscrub.

ELEVATION.— 1040–1600 meters.

NOTES.— Daniel (1982) provided a description of this Chihuahuan Desert species ( Fig. 3F View FIGURE ), which is rare in Tamaulipas.

REPRESENTATIVE SPECIMENS.— 25 km S de Tula , P. Hiriart & F. Medrano 165 ( CAS, MEXU); Mpio. Tula, 20 km S de Tula , F. Medrano et al. 8213 ( MEXU).
