Emendated features to the original description (Papp l.c.) – f. Body (2.2–) 2.6–2.8 mm long. Penultimateflagellomere 1.7 timesaslongasbroad ( Fig. 128 View Figs 128–139 ). Headindorsalview transverse, 2–2.1 timesasbroadaslong, eye 3.1–3.2 timeslongerthantemple, templere- ceded ( Fig. 129 View Figs 128–139 ). Forewing: pterostigmawide, 2.1–2 timesaslongaswide, issuing r from (orjustproximallyfrom) itsmiddle, 1–R1 0.7 timesaslongaspterostigma ( Fig. 130 View Figs 128–139 ). Cara- pacebelly, 1.4–1.6 timesaslongasbroadposteriorly, areolate- rugose ( Fig. 131 View Figs 128–139 ). Carapace inlateralview 3(–2.9) timesaslongashighposteriorly ( Fig. 132 View Figs 128–139 , seearrows). Legsyellow, hindtibiadistallybrownish, trochanters (partly) whitish.
Distribution – CostaRica, Honduras.
Taxonomicposition – Inthekeytothefemale Microchelonuis species M. cavei runs to M. paululus (McComb) , see couplets 127 (126) – 129 (128) (cf.
Papp 2010: 165–166). Intheoriginaldescription M. cavei isalsorelatedto M. paululus (Papp l.c.).
