Material examined. Dam Bay, in mangrove plantations, 2 specimens.

Abundance. Rare.

Measurements. Up to 36 mm ( Reid 1986).

Ecological notes. Ovoviviparous species ( Reid 1986).

A continental species. Typically on leaves and trunks in Avicennia fringe, also reported on other mangrove trees, on rocks and in marsh grass ( Reid 1986).

In studied sites it was found on trunks of mature Rhizophora trees in upper intertidal zone.

Relation to mangroves. Predominantly mangrove-associated.

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast.

General distribution. Okinawa I. to Singapore ( Reid 1986).
