Type:—New Guinea ( INDONESIA. New Guinea, Irian Jaya), the Central range of Snow Mountains (Nassau Range), along Utakwa River to Mt. Carstensz, Expedition of A.F.R. Wollanton, Camp III, 2500’, November 1913, C. Boden Kloss s.n. (BM 000088805!).
Note:—The single type specimen of the species contains only one plant.
