Diagnosis. Libythea geoffroyi alompra is similar to other subspecies of L. geoffroyi , but differs in that its forewing dorsum of male is with wide dark brown band along outer margin, as wide as half the length of CuA 2; dark brown band separates blue proximal area from white subapical marks in cells Rs 4, M 1 and M 2.

Distribution. Southern China, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand.
Remark. Only male specimens were obtained during this study, but Igarashi & Fukuda (2000) illustrated a female and that drawing was studied.
