Type-locality: “ Surinam ”. [This is the senior synonym for L. leucophrys (Wiedemann, 1830) ]. Distribution in Mato Grosso do Sul: Corumbá [Pantanal macroregion] and Maracaju [Cerrado macroregion] ( TOMA & GUIMARÃES, 2002).
