Distribution in Türkiye: Gediz River basin. ― Distribution in river basins: 5-Gediz, 6-Küçük Menderes, 7-Büyük Menderes. ― General distribution: Asia Minor: Gediz River (Aegean Sea tributary), İzmir Province ( Türkiye).― Distribution in ecoregions: 429-Western Anatolia. ― Habitat: This species inhabits streams with dense vegetation and standing or slowly flowing water.
