Range: —Known only from Bolivia (CO, LP, SC), but likely to be more widespread in the Andes.
Ecology: —Fairly common; epiphytic in humid forests; 2200–3250 m.
Notes: —Differs from Hymenophyllum interruptum by the unwinged rachises. This species also tends to have more densely pubescent blades, and shorter, more triangular pinnae and segments. Restricted to high elevations.
