( Fig. 3C View FIG )

MATERIAL. — 1 specimen: IGR 2769a.

DESCRIPTION

Specimen consists of isolated, narrow internodes, 35 mm long, and up to 4 mm wide. Each internode is composed by one whorl of three proximally fused leaves. Distally, internodes show three small, triangular free tips up to 1.5 mm long.

REMARKS

The gross morphology of the specimen is close to that of Frenelopsis alata (K. Feistmantel, 1881) E. Knobloch, 1971. Based on isolated cuticles, this taxon was first recorded from the sub-unit A1sl1 by Gomez et al. (2004).
