T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♀. Type locality: Peru, Cusco, Santa Isabel, Rio Cosnipata , Sancurtambo. A second label reads: 14-XII-1951, 1,700 meters, Worthowski ( WFBM).
D i a g n o s i s: Mostly black, except each elytron 3 with three yellow maculae, anterior two fasciae proximal; elytral apex highly setose.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 6.0 mm; width 1.3 mm. Form: As in Fig. 17 View Figs 17-20 . Head: Capitulum slightly acuminate; (EW/FW 20/80). Thorax: Elytral disc finely punctate; (PL/PW 90/90); (EL/EW 290/70). Abdomen: Female pygidium scutiform.
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, cusco, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
