Female unknown.
Diagnosis. D. naevus sp. n. can be easily distinguished by combining the protruding posterolateral angles of pronotum and the dorsal overall color pattern, which consists of an orangish background, a black mesonotal bump and a black disc of pronotum, whilst D. bicolor has a similar color pattern but differs in the pronotum without the posterolateral angles.
Description. Holotype, male, size small, body length (= overall length) 10.0mm; pronotum length×width 2.8mm × 4.5mm; tegmen length 7.1mm; wing length 11.6mm.
Body blackish brown. Antenna with basal one-third blackish and apical two-thirds brownish; apical part of clypeus and basal part of labrum yellowish brown. Pronotum with disc blackish, extremely narrow anterior border dark orange, wide lateral borders orangish, and with a dark orange dot at the middle of posterior margin ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 2 – 16 ); mesonotal bump black. Tegmina orangish, but looking darker because of the color of abdomen. Spines of legs brownish yellow. Apical part of cerci and the whole styli yellowish brown.
Pronotum and tegmina setose. Pronotum subsemicircular, with posterior margin emarginate near posterolateral angles, anterior margin slightly uplifted and lateral borders subsided. Tegmina punctate and setose, extending exactly to the end of abdomen, but appearing to exceed it in the photo because the abdomen of the specimen is retracted. Venation of hindwings similar to that of D. punctata , but with AP1 and AP2 weak at tfd, not reaching the outer margin.
Subgenital plate relatively broad at sides. Styli large, exceeding the hind margin of subgenital plate when pointing rear. Sclerite L3’ with basal part broad and the curved part narrow, protrudent at the inner margin; the apex of hook normal.
Distribution. China (southeast of Xizang Autonomous Region).
Etymology. Latin word naevus means “birthmark or nevus”, referring to the blackish stain on pronotum resembling a birthmark on the orangish overall appearance.
Type material examined. HOLOTYPE ( IESWU), male, China, Xizang, Motuo , Beibeng , 850m, 1983. V.27, coll. Yin-Heng Han.
