Diomus caledoniensis (Bielawski)
Scymnus (Diomus) caledoniensis Bielawski, 1973: 400 .
Diomus caledoniensis shows rough morphological similarities with Scymnus unicolor (Montrouzier) . It has been described by Bielawski (1973) as an endemic species, from specimens which were mixed in collection with Scymnus unicolor Montrouzier. This taxon is known from southern Grande Terre (Mont-Dore area: Boulari, Saint- Louis, Mont-Dore and Rivière Bleue), including dense rain forest habitat. Its biology and diet are unknown.
Material examined. NEW CALEDONIA: Coulée Boulari, Mont Dore (Delauney rec.) ( MNHN).
