CURRENT STATUS. Objectively invalid name, junior homonym of Dasypoda villipes

Lepeletier de Saint-Fargeau 1841, replaced by D. thoracica Baer, 1853 (Radchenko & Pesenko 1989) which synonymized under D. argentata Panzer, 1809 .

DISTRIBUTION. See above Dasypoda argentata cinerascens .
