TYPE LOCALITY: India, near Darjeeling, Gopaldhara, 3440 ft .

DISTRIBUTION: E Nepal, NE India (Bengal Presidency, Assam), N Laos, and S China (S Yunnan); probably occurs over a wider range (see map in Musser, 1981b).

SYNONYMS: ingens , wroughtoni .

COMMENTS: Known only by a few specimens (Li et al., 1987; Musser, 1981b).
