Distribution. The steppe and forest-steppe zone of the Palearctic: from the Western Ciscaucasia and the Urals in the west to the Low- er Amur Region and Japan in the east, from the Middle Urals, the West Siberian Plain, Central Buryatia, the Amur River valley, and Hokkaido Island in the north to the Caucasus, Altai, Southeast China (Fujian), the extreme south of the Korean Peninsula, and Honshu Island in the south.
