Range: — Peru, Bolivia (CO, LP, SC).
Ecology: —Common in cloud forests and elfin forests, common emergent tree fern especially along ridges; 2000– 3500 m.
Notes: —Previously known as Cyathea pallescens (Sodiro) Domin , which actually is an exindusiate speccies from the northern Andes. See Lehnert (2008) for further discussion on the species formerly combined under this name.
