Biogeographic province: Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Chihuahuan Desert.
Habitat: Soil and Litter. Associated with trunks of Persea americana . Xerophytic shrub, composed mainly of succulents and cacti ( Myrtillocactus geometrizans ).
