Cretoxenoides erdeniensis Legalov , sp.n. ( Fig. 5 )

Material. Holotype –?female ( PIN ¹ 4300/1), Mongolia, Ubur-Khangay ajmag, 80 km E Hovd-Somon settlement, S slopes Erdeni-Ula mount; Lower Cretaceous, Middle Neocomian, Huhtyk Formation.

Description. Body, judging from the chitin remains, dark brown. Rostrum long, 5.75 times longer than the width, little longer than pronotum, narrower than profemora. Frons flattened. Eyes not large, round. Temples shorter than eye. Pronotum weakly elongated, with lateral margin. Disk largely punctate. Elytra weakly convex, 3.36 times longer than pronotum, with distinct striae. Intervals wide, flat. Exterior margin of elytra straight line. Procoxa spherical, located near the prothorax basis. Precoxal part of the prothorax elongated. Metathorax wide. Abdomen convex. 1st and 2nd ventrites of almost equal length, narrow. Femora weakly widened. Length of body: 3.4 mm.

Etymology. The name is derived from the location “Erdeni” – “erdenensis”.

Distribution. Erdeni-Uul.
