Trogaspidia analis OLSOUFIEFF 1938 is a junior secondary homonym of Trogaspidia analis (LEPELETIER de SAINT- FARGEAU 1845), but the substitute name (sylvicola) has never been used since its proposal and the species concerned are no longer considered congeneric; analis OLSOUFIEFF must therefore be used in Chrysotilla for the Madagascan species (Article 59.3 of the Code).
