Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Myitkyina District: 1525 m, 5 May 1938, Kermode 17308 ( AMES, K), ident. uncertain; Bhamo District : 610 m, 15 Mar 1914, Forrest 12326 ( E), ident. uncertain. WITHOUT LOCALITY. Type; without collector s.n. ( W-R 41549 , left hand sketch). Reported from Mandalay Region, Mon State and Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 69), but we have not seen material from these areas.
Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.
Note:— Citation for the combination Sarcochilus lunifer is given above. However, the plate and description indicated in this new combination are of C. parishii .
