Type locality: São Tomé Islands .
Remarks: The examination of the microscope slides with 2 male paratypes confirmed that this is a distinct species. The genital structures are distorted and deformed, especially affecting the understanding of the original position of digitate processes, but the shape of the harpagones clearly differentiates it from the similar species, C. digitata Mosely.
