Authorship. DO: Denis 1948.

Type locality. Ðà L ạt, Lâm Đồng province ( Vietnam) .
General distribution. Only known from the type locality.
Remarks. In the original description no type was chosen. Therefore, the only studied specimen is regarded as syntype. Syntype in coll. Denis at MNHN.

T. et al. 1999), Hậu Giang (Lung Ngọc Hoàng natural reserve) (EC: Trần T.K.H. et al. 2017, as Cyphoderus bimaculata , sic.). Vĩnh Phúc (Tam Đảo national park) (EC: Nguyễn T. T. et al. 1997), Đồng Nai (Cát Tiên national park) (EC: Shveenkova 2011).
