Description of Arcicella rigui YBF 1
Cells are gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, mucous, and pink-colored after 2 days of incubation at 25°C on R2A agar. Positive for β -galactosidase activity. Negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, esculin hydrolysis, and arginine dihydrolase, urease, and gelatinase activities.
