Anemone tetrasepala View in CoL auct. non Don (1825): Wang (1980, 1985), Wang et al. (2001), p.p., Ma et al. (2016).

Distribution and habitat:— Anemone elongata is distributed in China (Xizang), north-east India, and Nepal ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 ). It usually grows in sparse forests at elevations of 2400–3100 m.

Additional specimens examined:— CHINA. Xizang: Gyirong, B.S. Li et al. 13628 (PE), PE-Xizang Exped. 4012 (PE), Qinghai-Xizang Exped. 7013 (PE), Qinghai-Xizang Veg. Exped. 4736 (PE); Nyalam, Y.T. Chang & K.Y. Lang 4501 (PE).
