Diagnosis. Vein MA with four main branches reaching wing margin ( Fig. 28 View FIGURE 28 ). Mesobasisternum pentagonal, anteriorly triangular; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally straight and posteriorly concave, forming a posterolateral blunt tip ( Fig. 27E View FIGURE 27 ). Metabasisternum triangular, anteriorly straight; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally straight, posteriorly convex, posterolaterally forming an angle of 120° ( Fig. 27E View FIGURE 27 ). Left stridulatory file curved, with basal half and straight apical half ( Fig. 29A View FIGURE 29 ).
Description. Holotype Male.
Thorax. Mesobasisternum pentagonal, anteriorly triangular; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally straight and posteriorly concave, forming a posterolateral blunt tip ( Fig. 27E View FIGURE 27 ). Metabasisternum triangular, anteriorly straight; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally straight, posteriorly convex, posterolaterally forming an angle of 120° ( Fig. 27E View FIGURE 27 ).
Wings. Vein MA with four main branches reaching wing margin ( Fig. 28 View FIGURE 28 ). Left stridulatory file curved, with basal half and straight apical half; Initial teeth basal and apical minor ( Fig. 29A View FIGURE 29 ). Total file length of 2.4 mm, greater vein width of 0.4 mm and total of 50 teeth. Right stridulatory with curved basal half and straight apical half; basal teeth smaller and more distant from each other ( Fig. 29B View FIGURE 29 ). Total length file of 2.1 mm, widest vein of 0.2 mm and total of 57 teeth.
Legs. Hind femur with expanded region equivalent to 1/2 of the total femur length ( Fig. 27H View FIGURE 27 ).
Abdomen. Cercus slightly curved inwards, with slender apical half ( Figs. 27I–K View FIGURE 27 ).Apex of cercus with rectangular projection and small lateral spine, with a dark brown color ( Fig. 27K View FIGURE 27 ). Apex bifurcated between the base of the stylus, with concave recess with small median projection ( Figs. 27I–J View FIGURE 27 ). Stylus small and rectangular ( Figs. 27I–J View FIGURE 27 ).
Internal male genitalia. Not examined.
Coloration. Described based on photos of live specimens ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 ). General color of the body light green with asymmetric patches dark green. Tegmina almost hyaline, with light green coloration with asymmetrical dark green spots and small yellow spots. Eyes dark green with white spots. Abdomen light green with small yellow circular spots; ventrally whitish. Apical half of the tegmina and apex of the membranous wing with yellow edges.
Female: Unknown.
Etymology. The epithet is in apposition, bare comes from the Brazilian indigenous language Tupi-guarani, referring to the type locality of the species.
Distribution. Brazil: Amazonas ( Fig. 31 View FIGURE 31 ).
Type material. Holotype ♂. BRASIL, Amazonas , Manaus , Maraã , Amanã, Casa do Baré, 02°29’26.5”S, 64°42’31.8”W, 17.ix.2023, lençol luz mista, D.M.M. Mendes leg. ( INPA) GoogleMaps ; Paratype: idem (1♂ INPA) GoogleMaps .
