The record from Eritrea, which is not mentioned in FRIESE (1909b, 1915) and EARDLEY & URBAN (2010: 436), should be checked, because Amegilla antimena is endemic to the Malagasy Subregion ( Seychelles (Aldabra), Madagascar).
