Type material.
Agrilus biakanus Curletti, 2006. Type locality. Mokmer, Biak Isl., N. G. Type specimens were not examined. Image of the holotype (Fig. 47) was adopted from Curletti (2006). See also Remarks. Described from 10 specimens (holotype, paratypes).
Diagnosis.
Size: 6.9-9.2 mm. This species is distinctive by the glabrous elytra ( Curletti 2006). See also Appendix.
Host plant.
Unknown.
Distribution.
INDONESIA: Irian Jaya.
Remarks.
No specimens of this species were available for this study. The assignment of this taxon to Agrilus occipitalis species–group is based on the original description and on the image of aedeagus which is very similar to that of Agrilus occipitalis .
