Distribution. A boreal Holarctic species. In the Palearctic: from the Bolshezemelskaya tundra and Urals in the west to Chukotka, Kamchatka, the southern Kuril Islands, and Japan in the east, from the tundra zone in the north to the Middle Urals, the south of Western Siberia, South Altai, Central Mongolia, the southern Sikhote-Alin, and Honshu Island in the south.
