Acinetobacter guillouiae View in CoL 16_H2_V4
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, and rod shaped. Colonies are pale white color, circular, convex, and glistening after incubation on R2A at 30℃ for 2 days under aerobic conditions. Strain is positive for nitrate reduction, and utilization of glucose, mannose, N- acetyl-glucosamine, and potassium gluconate; but negative for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, β-galactosidase, cytochrome oxidase, and utilization of arabinose, mannitol, maltose, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, and phenylacetic acid in API 20NE. However, utilization pf maltose showed both positive and negative activity. Strain 16_H2_V4 (= NIBRBAC000501072) was isolated from manure from Guri, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea.
