Acinetobacter beijerinckii View in CoL 16_S3_M11
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, and rod shaped. Colonies are cream color, circular, and convex after incubation on R2 A at 30℃ for 2 days under aerobic conditions. Strain is positive for utilization of capric acid, malic acid, and trisodium citrate; but negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, β-galactosidase, cytochrome oxidase, and utilization of glucose, arabinose, mannose, mannitol, N- acetyl-glucosamine, maltose, potassium gluconate, adipic acid, and phenylacetic acid in API 20NE. Strain 16_S3_ M11 (= NIBRBAC000501074) was isolated from soil from Yeosu, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea .
