Remarks. Typesof Oenas melanuraErichson, 1843, were not examined, but specimens compared with typewere studied at HMNH. After the examination of the Typeof Lytta benguellanaPic, 1911(MNHN), described from the extreme southwestern Angola( Benguela), we propose here its synonymy with P. melanura. Lytta benguellanaremained unknown in the literature after its description and the typespecimen was identified as P. melanuraby Kaszab only in 1962, buth the Hungarian specialist did not publish the new synonymy.
