[incorrect subsequent spelling of  triangulata]   Diagnosis.This species is similar to  S. magnificain the male genitalia, but can be distinguished from it by the presence of a small triangular dorsal blotch on the forewing and the trapezoidal cucullus. In  S. magnifica, the forewing has a large semiovate dorsal blotch, and the cucullus is subparallelogram­shaped. Adult ( Fig. 3): Wing expanse 13.0–14.0 mm. Male genitalia ( Fig. 7): Tegumen long, top with rounded projection. Uncus absent. Socius triangular, small, hairy. Valva slender, with large basal cavity ca. 0.5 times length of valva; cucullus dorsally strongly bent, with well­developed long hairs at dorsal margin, provided with a terminal pollex; sacculus with angle indistinct, bearing band of long hairs. Caulis shorter than aedeagus. Aedeagus slender, vesica with a bundle of cornuti. Female: Unknown.   Distribution. China( Henan) ( new record), Japan.   Material examined.   CHINA: Mt.
